RAW is a certified organic wine brand made by Bodegas Latúe, a grower cooperative in Villanueva de Alcardete, La Mancha. The cooperative farms 4,300 hectares and ranks among the largest organic wineries in Europe. The wines are made to be opened and enjoyed — no occasion required.

Bodegas Latúe was founded in 1954 by 131 families in Villanueva de Alcardete who wanted to farm their own land and sell their own wine. Seventy years later, 630 associates — descendants of those founding members — work the same plateau. Most of the cooperative’s farms are around seven hectares. The cooperative now covers 4,300 hectares and ranks among the largest certified organic wineries in Europe.
Organic certification is central to Bodegas Latúe. The cooperative built its identity around environmental stewardship from the ground up, and RAW carries that forward as a brand designed for everyday drinking — wine made to share.
The technical team is led by winemakers Víctor Añover and María Moral, with Marta de la Guía supporting production. Vineyard work is overseen by field technician Jose Manuel Ramírez.
FARMING AND WINEMAKING
All RAW vineyards are certified organic. La Mancha's climate — hot, dry summers and cold winters, with pronounced day-to-night temperature swings — keeps disease pressure naturally low and makes the region well suited to organic farming at scale. Sandy-loam soils over limestone limit yields without intervention and contribute to freshness in the finished wines.
Winemaking is clean and focused. Stainless steel aging preserves the fruit character, producing wines that are consistent, fresh, and easy to drink.

The vineyards sit on the La Mancha plateau, all within ten kilometers of the winery, near the Gigüela River. Elevation moderates the summer heat. The river provides a natural reference point in an otherwise spare, open landscape. The 4,300 hectares farmed here are all certified organic.
